Our campaign, Period Positive, aims to raise awareness of the issue, provide access to menstrual products, and advocate for policy changes to help alleviate the problem. Period poverty affects many women and girls who cannot afford or do not have access to menstrual products, 145 leading to health issues and social stigma. Yog parivartan social foundation explicitly targets low-income communities and schools to provide free menstrual products and educate them on menstrual hygiene. By addressing period poverty, we can break the taboo around menstruation, promote gender equality and improve the well-being of women and girls in our society.
